"Promo tools are solid, but the reporting could be better"
I’ve had a good experience using the campaign tools overall. Sending out promos is simple and doesn’t take much time, which I appreciate. My only gripe is with the reports, whoever designed that part made it harder to understand than it needs to be. If the reporting were clearer, I’d probably be a lot happier with it.

It runs okay for the most part, but I do notice some lag here and there. Nothing terrible, but it would be nice if it were a bit smoother—people just expect basic stuff like this to work decently without slowing down.

We’ve been using Toast for our kitchen display, and it’s been a solid upgrade. I had heard a few other restaurant owners say it helped their kitchens stay on track, so I was hoping we’d see the same thing. Orders pop up quickly, the cooks can actually see modifications without confusion, and bumping tickets is simple. The reader really works like it should, so no complaints there. The tablet itself just feels kind of cheap in the hand, which was a little disappointing.

"Made Stock Counts So Much Easier"
I know stock counts are just part of the job, and I’m not trying to make them sound harder than they are, but they used to be such a headache for me. This made the whole process way less stressful and easier to stay on top of. I felt more organized and didn’t have that usual panic of double-checking everything a million times.

"Setup was easier than expected"
Toast ended up being way less stressful to get going than I thought it would be. The guy who came in for training really knew what he was doing and didn’t rush us, which helped a lot since we had a lot happening that week. Our staff caught on quickly, and the few questions we had afterward got answered fast too. So far, I’m happy with it.

"Before using Toast, I felt kind of…"
Before using Toast, I felt kind of trapped by all the staff hours and payroll stuff at the restaurant. It was one of those weekly tasks I dreaded because one small mistake could turn into a whole headache. Now I can pull up timesheets quickly, fix little issues without digging through everything, and keep it all way more organized. It did take me a bit to get comfortable with it, but at this point it saves me a lot of stress every week...

"We ran into a couple of refund issues..."
We ran into a couple of refund issues and had one chargeback come up, so I had to go through Toast support. They weren’t the fastest to respond, which was a bit frustrating, but once they got on it, they handled everything fairly. The records were clear and things got sorted out in the end. Not a perfect experience, but overall it worked fine for us.

"Works well for managing a few locations"
I’ve been using it to keep track of a few different locations, it does make things easier. Not everything is perfect — there are a few little hiccups here and there — but overall, it saves me time and keeps things more organized than doing it all manually.

"Floor plan setup is actually damn handy"
I’ve been using Toast for table management, it’s been solid. The floor plans are easy to tweak, and my staff figured it out fast, which is great because nobody wants to deal with some confusing piece of crap during service. It does get a little slow on busy nights, and that’s annoying as hell when the place is slammed, but overall it does the job well.

"Decent, but the cost adds up"
It works fine for what I need, so I can’t really complain too much. That said, I do feel like the monthly fees are a bit on the high side, and it makes me question whether it’s worth keeping long-term. Overall, I’m somewhat satisfied, but not completely sold.

We tried using Toast for tableside ordering the other night during a normal dinner shift, nothing crazy, and it worked well overall. There was a little lag here and there, which was mildly annoying, especially when I was standing by the window seats where the Wi-Fi always seems a little weird, but the orders still went through correctly. It definitely saved us some time running back and forth, and by the end of the night it felt like a solid setup.

"Works fine, but canceling is a hassle"
Toast has been solid for everyday use, no big issues there. But the contract and cancellation rules felt kinda rigid. I had to read the fine print super carefully, and canceling wasn’t nearly as easy as I expected. Not the worst thing ever, just low-key annoying.

"Filters Could Be a Lot Better"
I really wish the filters worked better. It’s frustrating trying to narrow things down and still getting results that don’t really match what I picked. On top of that, I feel like I keep getting inconsistent answers depending on what I search or click, which makes the whole experience kind of annoying. It’s usable, but the filters definitely need some work.
